Bio
David is an up and coming Solicitor in Anthony Harper's Corporate & Commercial team, routinely advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, corporate governance and general commercial matters. David advises a wide range of clients, from local startups to large multi-nationals.
David knows how to get things done for his clients, which is best evidenced by his work on some of the firm’s larger and more complex transactions with supervisor Sam Wilson and head of practice Chris Dann. Acting for buyers and sellers alike, David has advised on various domestic and cross-border mid-market transactions.
David’s pragmatic and personable approach holds him in good stead when dealing directly with CEOs, CFOs and other key stakeholders.
In terms of community service, David is the Vice President of NZC’s 2024 “Club of the Year”, Old Boys Collegians Cricket Club. OBCCC is the largest cricket club in the South Island and was described by NZC as being “an outstanding model for cricket clubs in NZ”. David was one of the driving forces behind Elmwood Park’s new state-of-the art training net facilities and the multi-award winning Jim Wakefield Pavilion (which included successfully raising $1.2m).
David is also a proud trustee of the BetterMan Charitable Trust, which is looking to make a difference to men’s mental health in our communities.
