Nina focuses on civil and commercial litigation. She specialises in a wide range of disputes, including debt recovery, insolvencies, liquidations and contractual disputes. With over seven years of experience Nina has also worked as in-house counsel in a corporate commercial role, as well as a civil litigator in a boutique firm. She has hands-on practical knowledge of providing legal advice in private practice and a corporate environment. - Acted for a large commercial entity in a contractual dispute involving misleading and deceptive conduct claims (under both the Fair Trading Act 1986 and Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017)
- Obtained summary judgment in loan recovery proceedings on behalf of a family trust where the duties of security holders was put into issue – R J G Trust v D’Esposito & Anor [2024] NZHC 1964
